Death The Kid X Reader: Gateway Traveler, Chap. 1

It's night time and you are in bed checking your mail on your laptop you got for your last birthday. You haven't put on your pajama's yet and you aren't tired. After going through your mail you feel bored, but, too awake to sleep. So, you decide to mess with some of your favorite songs, but, playing them backwards. You keep the volume a bit low because everyone is a sleep. You laugh a bit a couple of the songs while you munch on your favorite snack. Then the theme song from Soul Eater, Resonance, comes on. There's something about how it sounds backwards so you put it on repeat. After a few times you start to hum along. After that you attempt to sing it backwards. All of a sudden you feel your skin start to sting and glow with a bright light. You go to scream as the sting starts to burn painfully, but, you fall unconscious.

It's pretty late in death city. Crona, Maka, Soul, Black Star, Tsubaki, Kid, Liz, and Patty are going out dancing. It's Friday night.
"Will you dance with me tonight, Crona?" asks Maka with a smile.
"I-I don't know how to dance...." Crona grabs his right arm with his left.
"I can teach you in the back were people won't watch and if you don't like it we can sit at a table and order smoothies." Maka smiles encouragingly.
"O-okay. I'll try...." stammers Crona.
"Hey, Soul! Let's rock! It's karaoke night." says Black Star with a thumbs up.
"Sounds cool." says Soul picking at his teeth.
Kid walks quietly with his hands in his pockets. "Hey, Kid. You okay?" asks Liz.
"I'm fine. I was just.... thinking." he says monotone.
I've had this feeling for a long time. Like something is.... missing. Symmetry is great and my life in Death City. But, there's.... there's something... not here.... Kid thinks to himself deeply.
"HEY! What's that thingy?!" Patty points down the street.
"It's a girl." says Tsubaki in shock.
Kid quickly ran up to the girl and rolled her on her back. He grabbed her shoulder and shook her a bit "Hello? Are you okay?" he asks.

You feel yourself waking up. You feel the stone paved street on your back then you realize there is a hand on your shoulder and you hear "Hello? Are you okay?" the voice sounds strangely familiar. You are a bit weak so your response is only a moan at first. You hear a sigh of relief next to you as you slowly open your eyes and gasp in shock.
You quickly sit up and crawl backwards until your head hits the trash can behind you. "Y-y-your Death The Kid!" you stammer.
"Yes, I am...." he says a bit confused.
"How did I get here?!...." you look at your hands that are now animated with fingerless motorcycle gloves "What happened to me?!...." You grab your hair that is now in 2 braids down to your hips and it's sky blue.
"Are you hurt?" asks Maka.
"No. You don't get it! I'm not even from this universe! Where I come from your not real!" You pinch your self "OW!"
"What do you mean by we're not real?" asks Tsubaki.
"Where I am from this," you gesture to the world around you "Is an anime, a TV show."
"Maybe we could help you. Are you a weapon or a meister?" asks Maka.
"In my universe there are no weapons, no meisters, no witches, no magic, no DWMA, no Death City, etc. So, I don't know. I don't even look like this in my world." you look down at your slim body that wore a black crop top with the Death Symbol on it, black bell bottom pants, black boots, and black fingerless motorcycle gloves.
Kid helps you up. "Maybe father will know what's going on."
They start to head to the DWMA for further advice.
"So, what is the name of the TV show about this universe?" asks Maka.
"Soul Eater." you answer.
"I knew I was the coolest." gloats Soul.
"Don't make me smack you with this." says Maka raising a book.
